Booking Takeover Service

Already made a reservation on your own? No problem. Our Booking Takeover Service allows you to transfer an existing booking to a professional travel advisor who will manage, monitor, and support your trip moving forward. In order to transfer booking to a travel Agency it can’t be paid in full. 

What’s Included in the Booking Takeover Fee:

• Reservation Review & Verification
  Reviewing your existing booking for accuracy, inclusions, payment schedules, and cancellation policies.

• Supplier Transfer Assistance
  Requesting to have your cruise, resort, or tour booking transferred to Global Getaways with SP (subject to supplier eligibility and deadlines).

• Price & Promotion Monitoring
  Monitoring your booking for potential promotions, onboard credits, or re-pricing opportunities (when allowed).

• Policy & Documentation Guidance
  Assistance with travel documentation requirements, insurance recommendations, and important deadlines.

• Pre-Travel Support
  Check-in reminders, packing tips, and final travel details.

• Travel Advocate Support
  Acting as your point of contact for supplier-related issues before or during travel.

Important Terms

• The $25 booking takeover fee is non-refundable.

• Transfer approval is not guaranteed and is subject to the supplier’s policies and time limits.

• This fee covers professional services rendered and does not guarantee pricing changes or additional perks.

• Once services begin, the fee cannot be charged back or disputed.

By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree that professional services are being provided and you waive the right to initiate a chargeback for the booking takeover fee.

Please Note

• Some suppliers restrict transfers within a certain timeframe (often 14–30 days after booking).

• If a booking is not eligible for transfer, alternative planning services may be offered.
